You can proceed with online check-in from 48 hours up to 30 minutes* before the departure of your flight.  Kindly be informed that you should be at the boarding gate at least 20 minutes before the departure time of your flight. After this time, your seat will be at the disposal of the airline. 

If you have connecting flights you can check-in for all of your flights, provided that the first leg is operated by Olympic Air.

If you have booked connecting journeys with flights operated by another airline, issued on the same ticket, you can perform check-in for the connecting flights departing within 24 hours.

Online Check-in is available to all passengers and their travel companions under the same booking.

Please find exceptions below:

• Minors (aged 16 and below) travelling alone or accompanied by another minor.
• Minors (aged 16 and below) accompanied by passengers above the age of 16 that hold a separate booking.
• Passengers who have requested for special and/or medical assistance.
• Passengers travelling with a pet/animal.
• Passengers who have a previous flight on the same booking that is not operated by Olympic Air.
• Passengers travelling in a group of 10 or more in the same booking.
• Need to provide additional payment for their ticket

The Mobile Boarding Pass can be downloaded to your mobile phone and it contains all your flight details and a 2D barcode that will be scanned at the airport during boarding. It can be used instead of the traditional paper boarding pass when checking in online or from your mobile device for travel from selected airports. As soon as you receive and download your Mobile Boarding Pass, you are able to proceed directly to the airport gate. Kindly note that at the gate you have to present your identification card or your passport, along with the Mobile Boarding Pass.

Currently, the Mobile Boarding Pass is supported from most Greek domestic airports. Click here to view if the airport you traveling from can support a Mobile Boarding Pass. You can still Check-in online even if the Mobile Boarding Pass is not available at the airport you traveling from. 

In the case that your phone battery is dead or that you have forgotten your mobile phone, you can still print out a boarding pass at one of our Self Check-in kiosks or at the check-in desk at the airport. This can be completed until 30 minutes before departure.

If you wish to cancel your check-in you are able to do so. However, this functionality is not supported by Smartphones and Apps.

Online check-in is available for all Olympic Air flights.

If you have booked a codeshare flight (i.e. operated by a carrier other than AEGEAN or Olympic Air), then the online check-in terms of the respective airline apply. Visit the official website of the airline operating the route and find out more regarding check-in.

In order to use your Mobile Boarding Pass at the airport you should have the 2D barcode image available on the screen of your device when approaching the security checkpoint or boarding gate. Please make sure that the entire 2D barcode is visible on the screen and that the backlight is on when the 2D barcode is being scanned. Also it is a prerequisite to have a valid government issued photo ID available for inspection at the Security Checkpoint or boarding gate.

If you have baggage to check you can still perform Online Check-in. When arriving at the departure airport please proceed to the designated baggage drop off counters before heading to the departure gate.

The Mobile Boarding Pass includes an IATA-standard two dimensional (2D) barcode and your personal details as well as your flight details. The barcode is not the typical 1D barcode consisting of a set of vertical lines as you might see on a grocery item. The 2D barcodes we use are much more sophisticated, consisting of a pattern of squares arranged on a grid. These squares are read by the scanners and decoded into tens or even hundreds of letters and numbers, electronically representing your boarding pass.

Apple Wallet or Passbook is an application in iOS that allows users to store mobile boarding passes all in one place on the iPhone or iPod touch. 

Users can access the Mobile Boarding Pass in the Passbook app at any time without Internet access. 

Also, the Mobile Boarding Pass appears automatically on your iPhone’s Lock Screen as you get closer to the departure time or as you approach the airport. 

Adding Mobile Boarding Pass to Apple Wallet

When using olympicair.com from a mobile device
After completing the Online Check-in you will be sent an email or SMS (depending on your selection for delivery method of the Mobile Boarding Pass) with the link to view your Mobile Boarding Pass. Along with the 2D barcode and the flight details, a button ‘’Add to Wallet” will also be displayed. If you select this option, the Mobile Boarding Pass will appear with an ‘’Add” button on the upper right hand corner. Simply click ‘’Add” and your mobile boarding pass will be added to Apple Wallet application. 

As you approach to your boarding time or to the airport area, an Apple Wallet alert will appear on your lock screen. 
If you unlock your phone and open Apple Wallet, it will automatically retrieve the stored boarding pass applicable to your flight. Make your way to the airport gate and present this boarding pass to board. 

On the lower right hand side of the Apple Wallet-enabled Mobile Boarding Pass there is an “i” icon. By pressing it, the back side of the pass appears and it contains the following additional information: 

• Ticket Number 
• Flight departure time 
• Flight arrival time 
• Baggage allowance info 
• Travel documents info 
• Conditions & Notices 
• Contact info
